How companies use Climate Cooperative

Two companies that fund agroforestry restoration in Brazil and show it on a public company forest page. Both cases are published with their permission.

GGN · Food safety and certification, Netherlands

Responsibility does not stop at the border

GGN funds agroforestry systems in Brazil as part of how it takes responsibility beyond its own operations.

Starting point
GGN works with agricultural supply chains across many countries and wanted a contribution it could explain and show, linked to real places rather than a general donation.
What they did
GGN funded systems through a company account. Each system is assigned to a GPS-located plot in an existing agroforestry system in Para, Brazil, and GGN shared the step publicly on LinkedIn.
Result so far
The systems are visible on GGN's company forest page with a map of every plot and field records that anyone can check.

Aurora Labs · Technology

A partnership you can point to

Aurora Labs funds food forest systems in Brazil and uses its forest page to show partners where the contribution goes.

Starting point
Aurora Labs wanted a sustainability contribution that partners could verify themselves, without relying on broad claims.
What they did
Aurora Labs funded systems through a company account. Every system is linked to a surveyed plot, so the contribution can be checked plot by plot.
Result so far
Aurora Labs has a public company forest page with the plots on a map and modeled figures for CO2, food and land restored.

"We wanted to support restoration in a way our partners can check for themselves. Seeing every plot on a map makes the conversation simple."

Egor Denisenok, Partnership Manager, Aurora Labs

Impact figures on the forest pages are modeled projections, not measured results.
