Over the next 20 years, each tree will absorb roughly 50 kg of CO2 annually while releasing oxygen into the air. It's a small way each of us can make a positive difference for the environment while planting something meaningful.
As a rough sense of scale: 500 kg is about the emissions associated with a short return flight in Europe, and 1,000 kg with around 6,000 km of driving in an average petrol car. It helps balance some of the everyday emissions we all create. Work out your own footprint
