Everything you need to represent us accurately: logos, colors, fonts, ready-to-use text and the rules that keep our claims verifiable. English is the authoritative version; a Dutch version is available at /nl/brand.

Logo

Use the horizontal logo wherever space allows. The stacked logo works for square placements. Keep clear space around the logo of at least the height of the tree emblem. Never stretch, recolor or add effects.

Long

Climate Cooperative is a cooperative that restores farmland in Brazil. Members fund planting systems of five to seven trees and shrubs, each tied to a specific GPS-located plot in one of our two forest regions. The register is public, so anyone can see what members receive before joining. A membership costs ten euros per month and includes a one hundred percent tree back-up system. Long-term impact is modeled: an estimated 175 kg of CO2 per system per year, 12.5 m2 of restored land per tree, and around 50 kg of food per tree per year once trees mature. Membership is not an offset and not an investment. CO2 certificates are issued under the GCS standard and figures are verified by VerClimate in official UN certified validation and verification reports. For membership, the word is Assigned, never Planted: trees are assigned to a system when funding starts.

Tone of voice

  • Write direct and factual. Short sentences beat long ones.
  • No em dashes, no emojis, no hype words such as revolutionary or game-changing.
  • Label every modeled figure as a modeled projection. Never present estimates as measured results.
  • Use Assigned for trees linked to a system. Never use Planted for that step.
  • Membership is never an offset, a donation with returns, or an investment.
  • If a claim cannot be verified, leave it out.
