Trees as a gift: a present they can find on the map

A contribution linked to a location, with a clear distinction between field records and modeled impact.

Food forests, tree gifts and restoration you can follow.

A present for people who have everything

Tips for your message

Keep the message short and personal. Say why you chose this gift for this person, rather than explaining the project; the plot page does that for you. A line connecting the trees to the occasion works well, for example the year a child was born, or a shared memory of the person you are remembering.

If you are not sure what to write, think about what the person cares about. Someone who loves cooking might enjoy knowing that their plot will grow fruit and food crops. Someone who travels might like to look up the GPS coordinates and see where in the Amazon their trees stand.

Be careful with claims. A gift of trees funds the restoration of degraded land and gives local farming families an income. It does not make anyone climate neutral or offset their emissions, so it is best not to suggest that it does.

Your contribution, linked to a location

Every €10 funds one GPS-located agroforestry plot with five trees or shrubs in Brazil. Your account shows the plots Assigned to you, their coordinates and available field records. Individual purchases do not include CO2 rights and do not replace reducing your own emissions.
