Climate Cooperative selected as Top 20 finalist for Startup Challenge 2026

Climate Cooperative has been selected as a Top 20 finalist for The Gap in Between Startup Challenge 2026. Our selection notice placed us among the finalists from a field of 1,500 applicants.

A serious stage for impact

On 20 and 21 October, we will pitch live in Valencia to investors, companies and strategic partners looking for impact models that can grow. The official challenge programme describes a selection from more than 1,000 applications, with a Top 50 review before 20 startups take the stage. The winning startup receives a €10,000 prize.

Reaching the final 20 matters because it puts a community-owned approach to forest restoration in front of people who can help it move faster and further.

We are going to Valencia to show that collective climate action can be measurable, transparent and ready to scale.

What we will pitch

Climate Cooperative connects members directly to geotagged agroforestry systems in Brazil. One funded system has one GPS location and contains approximately five to seven trees and shrubs. Members can see their assigned location, species information and planting data instead of receiving only a generic promise.

The model creates predictable funding for planting partners, while giving individuals, groups and companies a clear record of the restoration they support. That combination of long-term community funding and visible evidence is what we will bring to the stage.

Valencia is the next step

The final is an opportunity to build international partnerships, open new routes to growth and prove that thousands of people can restore forests together through a model they can inspect. We are proud to represent the members, planting teams and partners who are already making that model real.

Follow the journey to Valencia, or become part of the forest before we take the stage.
